# How do I calculate price per GB?

Divide the product's retail price by its storage capacity in gigabytes. For example: a $120 drive with 2TB (2,000 GB) of storage costs $120 / 2,000 = $0.06/GB. BuyPerUnit does this calculation automatically for every product and ranks them cheapest-per-GB first.
